No diets or gimmicks here! There's a huge difference between balanced nutrition and a diet! The most obvious difference is that balanced nutrition means you get a much bigger variety of foods to enjoy, and diets, well, they just suck.
Rather than starve yourself or deprive your body of important nutrients, feed it with all the healthy foods from all the food groups. The sky's the limit for all the things you can create. You will feel satisfied for longer because you're eating food that has staying power. As for health benefits— I'd be here all night listing them. But, I'll bet you have a pretty good idea.
That's why Skinny Dip is so great! You get to eat all these healthy foods that are actually REALLY good! You'll learn how to cook some new dishes and maybe even discover some foods you've never tried.
The meals were amazeballs again today! Tuna melts and burgers and peanut butter... Whaaaaaat?!?! Sorry I didn't take pictures, but I was at work. The good news is that it's all simple to make and pack for a busy workday. A little prep last night made it easy for my hubby, Ron, to grill the burgers Tonight. What an epic dinner for TGIF. :)
As for today's workout... It sure gave me a run for my money. Apparently, it's possible to kick one's own butt.
The test group members are still hanging in and enjoying the food and workouts. By the way, a couple of us were curious and decided to see what the scale would say this morning, and one member lost 1.5 lbs— after only two days following the plan. As for me, I've lost one pound, which is a portion of the weight I put on after two of my kids' birthday festivities and being a little to liberal with snacking.
This is proving to be all that I hoped. It doesn't get much more exciting.
